Mold

R2GC is licensed by the State of Florida to remove and remediate mold in residential, commercial and industrial settings.  With our steamy summers and mild winters, most residents of the Sunshine State have some knowledge of and experience with mold.  If you have water damage in your home or business, your property becomes a petri dish for potentially toxic mold after about 24 hours.  For homeowners, mold is a health hazard and attacks wallboard, wood, paint, and air conditioning systems.  Business can be impacted by excessive sick time and loss of productivity.  Plus, if you retail to the general public, mold, odor and mildew can cause business loss.

Please note that removing mold is not a DIY project or a task for your cleaning crew.  Mold can be a hazardous material and home remedies, including bleach, are largely ineffective and require the proper precautions for safe handling.  We use specialized safety gear to protect our mold removal technicians from exposure to mold, spores and bacteria.  If you suspect mold, call R2GC today and leave mold removal to our professional team.

While testing for mold is a fairly simple procedure, people often don’t realize that they have mold in their homes or workplaces.  Headaches, allergies and respiratory illnesses are frequently the first signs of hidden mold.  A small leak inside a wall, under a sink or in an AC handler can go undetected for some time.

Inspection and containment:  Our certified technicians will identify the source of mold propagating moisture and evaluate mold growth, then act quickly to prevent the mold from spreading.

Removal:  Contaminated surfaces are removed and the mold affected areas are carefully sanitized and dried according to the strict standards of the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).

Remediation:  Returning your property to pre-loss condition is a specialty of R2GC.  In addition to being certified to remove and remediate mold, we are licensed general contractors.  This means that we will find the source of the moisture, fix the problem, remove the mold and return your home or business to pre-loss condition with just one call.
